STIHL HLA56 Cordless Long Reach Hedgetrimmer

Working at height with a traditional hedgetrimmer can be tiring, time consuming and dangerous if full safety precautions are not taken. For the small to medium sized garden, help is at hand to tame those taller and wider hedges and bushes thanks to the Stihl HLA56 cordless long reach hedgetrimmer.

With an overall length of 210cm, reaching up the sides of a tall hedge and across wider hedges is much easier with the HLA56 than a traditional hedgetrimmer. The cutter head easily articulates through 135 degrees between plus 90 degrees and minus 45 degrees allowing you to select the perfect working angles for horizontal and vertical trimming.

The cutting length is 45cm and the blade is double sided allowing you to cut with up/down and left/right strokes. The tooth spacing is 30mm and teardrop shaped blade tips help guide the branches into the blades for a clean cut.

The cutter head is removable to reduce the storage and transportation length to 115cm. Where the shaft splits, an optional 50cm extension shaft is also available for a little extra reach.

Power is provided by a lithium-ion battery. The battery and charger are sold separately. Stihl recommend the AK20 battery with the HLA56 hedgetrimmer.

HLA56 with AK10 battery 50 minutes

HLA56 with AK20 battery 100 minutes (recommended combination)

HLA56 with AK30 battery 120 minutes
