The Honda Izy range of mowers has been one of our most popular ranges of mowers for many years and now includes cordless options giving you all the benefits of a Honda Izy in a cleaner, greener and quieter form. Starting a petrol powered Honda Izy was always easy but with a cordless model it is even easier.

The Honda Izy HRG466XB is an 18”/46cm self-propelled cordless rotary mower that is simple to operate and is suitable for medium sized lawns.

A robust steel cutter deck forms the chassis of the mower, the underside of which is specially shaped to give excellent airflow for great collection performance.

The Honda Izy HRG466XB is powered by a reliable brushless motor which incorporates the latest technology to ensure the most efficient use of the battery. Starting the mower is very easy. Simply push a button and move a lever and you are ready to cut grass.

Once the Honda Izy HRG466XB has started, you will notice how quiet the mower is. What’s more, the cordless technology means that the carbon footprint of this mower is less than that of the petrol equivalent.

The comfortable handles and large wheels mean that the mower is very easy to manoeuvre around your garden. A simple lever operates the drive system. Engage the lever and the drive starts. Let the lever go and the drive stops. With the drive disengaged, you can push and pull the mower so turning at the end of a run and negotiating tricky areas of the lawn are no problem.

The height of cut is adjusted with easy to use levers. There is one lever for the front of the mower and one for the back giving six positions to choose from.

The Honda Izy HRG466XB is fitted with Honda’s Versamow Selective Mulching system which offers both the traditional cut-and-collect / cut-and-discharge options as well as a cut-and-mulch option. Mulching allows the grass to be cut into tiny pieces and returned to the ground as a fertilizer whilst leaving a finish that looks like the grass clippings have been collected. Changing between cut-and-collect / discharge and cut-and-mulch is as easy as moving a lever.

When you are collecting the clippings, the good sized grass bag ensures minimal interruptions for emptying and, when the cutting is done, the handles on the Izy HRG466XB can easily be folded for storage or transportation.

With a 6Ah battery, this mower can achieve a maximum coverage of 450m².

This mower is one of several cordless products from the Honda range. The battery can be used in other garden tools such as a hedgetrimmer, brushcutter and blower. So, once you have a battery and charger, you can keep adding to your cordless garden tools without needing to buy more batteries and chargers.
